  17. <p>     There are actresses, and then there are Woody Allen
  18. actresses, like Mia Farrow and Diane Keaton, who helped
  19. personify his offbeat movies and deadpan view of life. But that
  20. outlook may be shifting with his latest project, a 1920s comedy
  21. being shot entirely in black and white. Among Allen's stars is
  22. none other than MADONNA, who plays a voluptuous circus artist
  23. in the film Shadows and Fog. But she won't have the screen to
  24. herself: it will still feature Farrow, JOHN MALKOVICH and
  25. Allen, who says, "I play an ink-stained wretch."
